Art of my Heart
My Art is as varied and eclectic as me. It is all about listening to the wisdom of my soul. Whether I am painting in acrylics, watercolor, sculpting with clay or mixing it up creating a mixed media piece, it is my journey, my path.. Every art book I create is filled with my heart and soul. Every person that I paint with color and expression, bringing forward an emotional response. Every paint stroke brings my energy and light to the piece. Each is a journey, unique and ever evolving.
Artist, Teacher, Perfectly Imperfect Being
As an Artist, I love exploring, flowing, stretching, getting messy and bringing myself to the piece. It’s about putting whats in my head onto the canvas. Every idea starts with the question “What will be my canvas?” Then choices are made, as I continue to explore; what is my medium or will I mix them, what colors will I choose, what medium will create the texture I need, what will bring my vision to life?
As a teacher, I believe that being creative is a choice and anyone who chooses to take that leap into feeling free to express their artistic abilities, with me, will have fun and make their own unique art. In my workshops, I provide a place for you to choose your colors, your words, a place that allows you to express your unique self, exploring my bag of tricks and techniques and then using any or all that you choose.
